First I'd like to thank Tim Lucas and all of the other CAN enthusiasts here at Mobius. Although I worked in a record store for years and have collected all sorts music since the mid 70's, up until now I've only read about CAN referenced in articles about Eno and others. I was always curious but never took the plunge. Since their first four recordings have been remastered last year, and encouraged by the discussions here I decided now is the time. All I can say is WOW, I can't believe it's taken me 30 plus years to hear this stuff!

One question I have is in regard to the CAN DVD. Is it a must have? Any opinions for a CAN newbie?

The other question is in regard to the SACD audio. I know very little about this technology. These remastered CDs are hybrid CD/SACD. I've only heard the CD layer and I think they sound fantastic. Will my mind be further blown when I hear the SACD. Anyone out there had a chance to hear these particular discs on a SACD system?
