I've been really looking forward to this for some time now despite some negative reviews. I've been putting that down to misjudged expectations given the pedigree of the production team but it sounds like there is much to enjoy with this old fashioned horror. A recent positive review in VW has bolstered my enthusiasm to see it, but I'm wondering if the UK release is the full unrated version - I presume it is. Has anyone had the opportunity to confirm based on the notes in imdb?

My memory is a little hazy (I saw the UK rental version a few months back), but I seem to recall the long tongue making an appearance. Perhaps someone can be of more help.
I wouldn't get your hopes up, though. I found it depressingly pedestrian.
