I couldn't find the answer to this question online, so I knew that asking here would probably be my best bet in finding an answer.
Simply put, was THE AZTEC MUMMY (LA MOMIA AZTECA) ever released in the US, either to theaters or directly to TV? I almost feel that it had to have been, since it crops up in Weldon's first Psychotronic book. I'm just wondering if a dubbed version once existed, since the Aztec Mummy box set didn't include one for THE AZTEC MUMMY. (And, no, I don't count Jerry Warren's ATTACK OF THE MAYAN MUMMY as qualifying.)
Anybody know?
P. S. I just checked the TV Feature Film Source Book from 1978, and it didn't appear in the TV syndication package that contained its two sequels and most of the other Mexican monster movies we know and love. Just for your enjoyment, here are the titles contained in Hemisphere Pictures' "Chillers" TV Movie package:
THE BLOOD OF NOSTRADAMUS
THE BLOODY VAMPIRE
THE BRAINIAC
BRING ME THE VAMPIRE
THE CURSE OF NOSTRADAMUS
THE CURSE OF THE AZTEC MUMMY
THE CURSE OF THE CRYING WOMAN
THE CURSE OF THE DOLL PEOPLE
DOCTOR OF DOOM
FRANKENSTEIN, VAMPIRE, AND COMPANY
GENI OF DARKNESS
THE INVASION OF THE VAMPIRES

The legend for the listing states that these were never seen theatrically in the U.S., and that this package debuted in September of 1965. Also, SCREAM OF DEATH and THE SWAMP OF THE LOST SOULS were the only two features in this package in color; all the rest were in black and white.
