An uncut version of Robert Altman's CALIFORNIA SPLIT will be showing on the UK channel ITV4 next Monday (the 28th). ITV's transfer, which is letterboxed at a compromised 1.85:1, is taken from the original theatrical version, and will include everything missing from the rescored/truncated Region 1 DVD.

Thanks for the notification, Brad - although this version will still be compromised (to 1:85) it'll still be an improvement over any other version I've seen. Even when I saw it theatrically at an Altman retrospective in 2003 a badly-cropped 16mm print was used.
