Title: Anybody seen CHOCOLATE yet?

The director of ONG BAK, BORN TO FIGHT and TOM YUM GOON has a new film out starring "the female Tony Jaa" (well, that's what she's referred to as on a couple of fanboy websites). It does indeed look pretty impressive, but I wonder if the autism angle will make potential US distributors antsy. This trailer has English subs (and particularly wince-inducing out-takes).

Hi Ian,

I just saw CHOCOLATE last night and have to say that it made not be the best made movie of all time but it sure is a blast to watch. Also, a blast from the past in that, like Brian noted on his lengthy review of the movie over on his "Asian Cinema -- While on the Road" blog, it can remind older Hong Kong movie fans about the Girls with Guns... although, considering that its heroine doesn't use a gun but, instead, is more into using her hands, fists and feet as weapons, let's just call her an all-action femme, shall we?

In short: If you have a chance to check it out, and especially on a big screen, grab it with both hands! :P
