Does anyone know if Elite's disc of DARK FORCES/HARLEQUIN is anamorphic 2.35:1? The Netflix online version is cropped to fullscreen (the credits say its Panavision). Their disc of THIRST was 2.35:1 and 16:9 and their previous release of PATRICK was 4:3 but letterboxed.

What about SNAPSHOT and THE SURVIVOR (I read James Herbert's novel recently)?

Eric, the DARK FORCES/HARLEQUIN disc is indeed anamorphic 2.35:1 (and is a special edition too, boasting an unexpected but very welcome audio commentary). An excellent release, barring the godawful retitling (which, I know, was the original US release title...but even so, it's awful).

One of my favourite guilty pleasures (although honestly, what I have to feel guilty about I can't imagine). On the other hand, wild horses couldn't drag me to watch THE SURVIVOR again - a leaden and uninvolving chore, as I recall from a painful TV viewing years ago. I can't imagine this playing any better in full 'scope (if that is indeed the true AR).
