How often does DDD do their fabulous 20% off sales? Is there any rhyme or reason to when these things occur?

I think the last one was around Thanksgiving last year.

I'm about to drop a bundle on them and, well -- who can blame me? -- I was just wondering if anybody thought another sale might be forthcoming any time soon. It would be just my luck to miss it by a week.

They usually do one in late May/early June, to coincide with Memorial Day and Father's Day. And their sister store, DVD Planet, usually does essentially the same thing, at around the same time (which can snag you an especially good deal on Criterion's titles, often better than DD).

Mmm, okay. I was wondering about this one. Between mid May and mid June, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Criterion's The Thief Of Bagdad, Come Drink With Me, The Skull, Icons Of Adventure, and Werewolf Shadow are coming out, amongst a whole slew of other titles appealing to myself or other folks around here. I hope the date of the sale coincides well with most of these.
