I realize that this has been in the cards for a few years now, but I'm still bummed. From the '80s and into the '90s, New Line was always the one "big" studio that seemed willing to take chances on interesting projects, even if the end result occasionally looked a little like SPAWN or MORTAL KOMBAT.
And, yes, I can also see that New Line will kinda sorta continue to exist in some form, but without Robert Shaye, it won't be the New Line that we've known and loved over the years.
