Boyett, a solid, macho supporting actor for many years, died last week at age 77. He was the deep-voiced superior officer to Martin Milner and Kent McCord in one of my favorite cop shows as a kid, ADAM-12, a Jack Webb series.

MST3K fans might remember him from a driving safety short that was ridiculed by Mike and the 'bots on that series.
