Five minutes into JUNO I knew at some point I'd be hearing V.U.'s "I'm Sticking With You."
I really don't understand the acclaim for this move.

It's just a parody. Swear to blog.

That's absolutely brilliant, and I haven't even seen JUNO (I sort of want to now, though). The highlight, however, if you scroll down, is the "academic essay" on the notorious 2 GIRLS 1 CUP.

I haven't seen JUNO, but upon reading this the first thought that popped into my head was that "The Gift" would probably have been a much more interesting choice than "I'm Sticking With You".
I'd almost say it calls for a YouTube fan edit, but I doubt anything can dislodge
Lawrence Welk Meets The Velvet Underground from its lofty perch atop the VU-related fan edit pantheon.

The VU Welk clip is hilarious, but so is this actual Welk clip, which needed no fan doctoring to lean into the red of the Surreal Meter. I think Myron Floren may have been holding something in his lungs during the intro, too...

I added the ;) lest someone think my "ironymeter" is busted, but swear to God I haven't laughed so hard since watching DUCK SOUP again last Xmas!

I looked for the academic essay on 2 Girls 1 Cup but didn't find it. Was it removed, or am I just looking in the wrong place?

It looks as if there are now several pages of comments on the original entry, and it has been bumped off the top page. Here's a direct link to it if you're interested:
