Title: So...is Val Kilmer really the new voice of KITT?
Description: Knight Rider just got interesting

Love Kilmer – but his voice always seemed so faraway and dreamy to me, like something you’d hear through headphones while being indoctrinated into a cult rather than coming from a crime fighting Mustang.

Kilmer's a more interesting choice than the much-less-funny-than-he-or-his-wife-think-he-is Will Arnett... but I still won't watch the goddamned thing.

I hope this means William Daniels is playing the Saint sometime soon.

To paraphrase Homer Simpson

"the crime-SOLVING Mustang"

So did anybody watch this? I never watched the original series, but I tuned in for some of this out of curiosity. The smart car aspect of it has some potential but I found the hero really annoying.

It would seem this time that the car is the laid-back character, as opposed to the anal, on-top-of-things William Daniels. Not that I ever watched the original. Whether it's the gay boy thing or not, I never got into cars (though I owned Matchbox and other toy vehicles).

Wait - are you implying that Gay Perry - er, I mean Mr. Kilmer - is a 'bottom'?!

Bob Gutowski - February 21, 2008 07:33 PM (GMT)
I guess so - WAIT A MINUTE! (Jimmy Finlayson d'oh!)

At least they got the car right this time!
