Once upon a time trailers used to show whole pieces of action and exchanges of dialogue, so we got a sense of how a movie looked and felt. Here we get such short snippets--and they all seem to be done in that horrible step-printing process--that we never see a complete action. So I have no idea what this film looks, feels or sounds like. If only the people who did the original Shaw Bros. trailers were let loose on this. (Of course any Chinese period epic that doesn't have David Chiang or Ti Lung in it is going to suffer in comparison anyway.)
I like the shots that I could see, though whoever cut this trailer needs to cut down on the caffeine, please.
Looks exciting, though. I hope it gets a wide release in the U.S.
