Distribution rights for Fabrice Lambot's English-language French-Argentine horror Dying God are to be offered for sale by Spotlight Pictures LLC at this year's European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin, Germany.

The screenplay for Dying God was written by Nicanor Loreti (who himself is directing Broken Hearts and Bones), Germán Val, Jean Depelley, and Lambot, based on an original idea by Uriel Barros and Lambot. The movie stars James Horan as Sean Fallon, Lance Henriksen as Chance, Agathe de la Boulaye as Angel, Erin Brown (a.k.a. Misty Mundae) as Mary, Enrique Liporace as Angelo, Victoria Maurette as Ingrid (Maurette is also in Albert Pyun's Left for Dead and his BulletFace), Samuel Arena as Duncan, Ivan Espeche as Ray, Mariana Seligman as Camila (Seligman is also in Pyun's Left for Dead), Brad Krupsaw as Gallagher (Krupsaw is also in Pyun's Left for Dead), and Louis Ballester as Nicky (Ballester is also in Ilmar Taska's Thy Kingdom Come).

Here's a synopsis for Dying God from the official website for the movie: "In a dark and decadent city, Sean Fallon (James Horan) - a corrupt cop - will have to face his own demons to put an end to a series of brutal rapes and murders of the weirdest kind. With the help of the local pimps, headed by Chance (Lance Henriksen), Fallon will go [on] the hunt for the serial killer, that may in the end not be human!"

The trailer doesn't work for me (for some reason, me and Quicktime have never seemed to get along), but Lance Henriksen as a pimp, and a monster with a thee-foot penis (a tripod squared?) is something.

I'm not sure what it is, but it's definitely something.
