The AMC Lowes Village 7 theater in New York now has signs up in several places warning "No weapons allowed." Did something happen at an AMC theater to prompt this notice? One more reason to avoid the theatrical experience, I guess.
They also have a sign up warning that CLOVERFIELD may cause motion sickness and that their print of THE GREAT DEBATERS looks like crap.
So there are theaters in New York where weapons are allowed?

Couldn't get me near Film Forum without my knuckle duster & flick knife.
I saw CLOVERFIELD there last Monday. That specific sign is up at all AMC theaters showing the film, at least in New York.
The others are new. I didn't see the weapons one up at 34th St. but I wasn't packing... :)
