Hidden amongst films like MY STEPSON, MY LOVER (!) and A FATHER'S BETRAYAL, The Lifetime Movie Network is airing this thriller from 1990 twice this month. I remember watching it when it originally aired and enjoying it. At the time, it was being touted as part of Ricky Schroder's move toward more adult roles, hence the christening of "Rick" and the black hair dye job.
The film is also interesting in that it was directed by Tom Holland of FRIGHT NIGHT and CHILD'S PLAY fame and it marks his third pairing with actor Chris Sarandon. It airs on 1/23 and 1/24.
