Can't say this is much of a surprise, but sad and a real shame as I always thought Renfro, for all his troubles, was a really good young actor. If only he could've gotten his stuff together...

It's sad. He had an edgyness and depth in his acting that many actors his age lack. Vincent's link says he just finished filming THE INFORMERS, based on Brett Easton Ellis' book, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I'm looking forward ot it, but this puts a damper on it.

Yeah, I read this yesterday and it's just sad. Regarding THE INFORMERS I read another article on his death that stated Renfro was still filming scenes when he died. Either way, this is terrible because I have been a fan of his for years. And I was always hoping he would get his stuff together.

I had a recurrent thought, all through those STAR WARS prequels: How much better would Renfro be as Anakin Skywalker? Ok, yes, he was way too short, but...
