According to DVD Drive-In, Fox will release a Bette Davis box in April, including:
THE NANNY (1:85-1 anamorphic)
THE VIRGIN QUEEN
PHONE CALL FROM A STRANGER
HUSH...HUSH, SWEET CHARLOTTE
ALL ABOUT EVE
I believe that the first two titles above are new to DVD in the US. The last two have been previously available.
THE NANNY will be sold separately as well. I'm not sure about THE VIRGIN QUEEN, but I'd like to see that one in CinemaScope. Since I have CHARLOTTE and EVE, I probably wouldn't spring for the box set.
. . . big month for Ms. Davis as there is also a box set coming from Warner . . .

I'm excited about the inclusion of ALL THIS AND HEAVEN TOO!
I'm kind of indifferent to Davis, but the lure here is WATCH ON THE RHINE. Is WATCH (an adaptation of Lillian Hellman's play) Dashiell Hammett's only full screenplay? Which reminds me - is there a reason there is no GLASS KEY DVD?
