I'm a day or two late on this, but the 1936 classic made its Turner Classic debut earlier this week, in the nicest shape that I've ever seen it (and it's been a long time between viewings). Whether it's the restored version available on R2 DVD I cannot say, but it was certainly steps up in quality from what I recall seeing. (It ran 96 minutes, not the 113 listed in TCM's
programming article about the film.) I'm sure it'll be in rotation now, so keep your eyes peeled.
