I just bought Philip Kaufman's HENRY AND JUNE on DVD and I must say the image transfer leaves a lot to be desired! The picture is really grainy and nasty. The packaging claims the film is presented at 1:66:1 but the DVD is 1:85:1. Which ratio is correct for the film? The 1:85:1 frankly looks a little tight. This is the Region 2 DVD British edition, although with the various language soundtrack and subtitle options I presume it's the same DVD that has been released all over Europe. What's the US version like?

1.85:1 is the correct AR for HENRY & JUNE... so you at least have that going for ya.
