This looks too cool not to share. The production design, epic scale, and action all look seriously ramped up from the first film. An 8 diagram pole fighting Elf, trolls, giant monsters, sword fights, Selma Blair in the sexiest little bob hairstyle, and of course... Perlman.

Plus you gotta love that broken down movie marquee glimpsed near the beginning: See You Next ___nsday. :D

...Actually, looks like it's gonna be a HELL of a lotta fun!

Looks like Del Toro is getting some of that Lovecraft out of his system with that big, Cthulu-esque monster at the end.

I only watched about half of it... and then the creature designs just became too astounding to be watched on a tiny PC window. I had to shut it off. Hyperbole aside, I haven't felt such chills and wonder at seeing movie monsters since Hammerhead in the Star Wars bar re-wrote my little 5 year old concept of what "monster" was.

Even if you're not into Hellboy, enjoy this bit of movie poster beauty...
