I finally caught THE LAST SAMURAI the other day, which reminded me of SOLDIER BLUE (at least the first act).
I found an uncut PAL tape on eBay a couple of years ago, but of poor quality. Is anyone aware of a DVD release of this film -- regardless of import/domestic status?

I don't know what Amazon says about it, but I've certainly heard that it was uncut. Although not exactly a definitive source for accurate information, eBay lists several copies of this DVD saying that it's uncut too.
Just be careful when buying it - apparently there was an earlier German release that only had German audio, but this new version has English.
I'd rather not buy through amazon any more, since I've learned that their political contributions in the most recent US elections heavily favored the particular party of which I am not a member.
Is there a mention on the amazon page of a source I could go to directly to purchase the DVD?
