Harris, whom you probably remember as Yaphet Kotto's menacing sidekick Tee Hee in the James Bond film LIVE AND LET DIE, has passed away at the age of 81. With dozens of film and TV credits and likely hundreds of stage credits in his career, Harris was most visible in blaxploitation films of the 1970s, including SUPERFLY, BLACK CAESAR and HELL UP IN HARLEM (where he played the father of star Fred Williamson), and FRIDAY FOSTER.
