Description: Pure genius!

Check out the trailer for their latest mockbuster (copyright Foywonder) called MONSTER. It does the whole "first person POV" from behind the camera gimmick and streets a few days before CLOVERFIELD.

Man... gotta admire their stones.

And the damnable thing is... it looks like a lot of fun.

The release date given at the end of the MONSTER trailer is 1-15-07. Almost a year ago. :P

Are we sure it wasn't meant to get the jump on D-WAR and then when D-WAR's release here was postponed, they decided to jump on the CLOVERFIELD bandwagon instead? Or did some bored techie typing in the text simply forget that it turns into "08" in a few weeks?

At least it's got name actors in it. Although the one I was expecting from that title was Fred Dryer. :P

Classic! It actually looks like their films are starting to catch up with their ripoff potential.

Somewhere...Bruno Mattei is smiling. I'm happy to see Americans via Asylum truly embracing the old Italian filmmaker spirit. I have to see the Monster ones looks decent, by obscuring it they can hide a lot of sins of the special effects. I really need to call there person back about review copies.
