Title: Fun horror titles on the Xbox360 Marketplace!
Description: This is not a geek test...

For the uninitiated, the Xbox Live service has a video marketplace that has nearly 400 titles – many of which are available in HD (720p). It looks like they’ve just struck a deal with MPI, because a good chunk of those great Dark Sky releases have shown up.
I definitely saw The Beast Must Die, Werewolves on Wheels, Devil’s Rain, plus a few others. But the really exciting news is that Texas Chain Saw (original) and Eaten Alive are both available in HD! I assume that TCM is the version that was so thoroughly cleaned up by “SynapseDon” (and his ridiculously inflated gamerscore) so it should look great. I’ve been quite pleased with the HD content that I’ve downloaded from them in the past; got Zodiac a few weeks ago - even though I had to wipe the hard drive to allow it to fit - and it looked really, really stunning. At 720p, it blows broadcast HD cable away.

Oooh. And what a rotten time to have my machine in the shop for repairs.
I'll definitely have to begin investing in a usb hard drive.

'Broadcast' meaning non-satellite, or are you including that service?
I ask because I've only seen Time-Warner's cable service, and am distinctly unimpressed by the downrez-lacquered image.
I'm hoping satellite is at least better re-compressed.

Hey...
XBOX 360 is a vice of mine... I play it a bit on the weekends!
Ahem... "SynapseDon"'s gamerscore, when compared to some folks online, IS still rather small.

I've got Cablevision, which means that I actually look up to people with Time Warner! I've heard that satellite has better compression as well, and for the sake of the subscribers I hope that it's true.
The 120GB hard drive for the 360 is available on Amazon for $160. It would make my life so much easier, but I just refuse to drop that kind of cake for something so overpriced.

You'll have to be on my Friends List to see my Food of the Gods gamer pic!

Ouch. My condolences on your cable service.
Almost any USB drive will work on the 360. I plan on just going to Best Buy and picking up maybe a 250 gig or above for $99 and above, respectively.
Don't got some nice achievements racked up, there. I wonder if anyone else has a gamertag?
