Description: The Muscles from Brussels does comedy

There's a Belgian movie called JCVD coming out next year, and Grady Hendrix recently wrote about it in Slate. If pressed, I'd have to say that this six minute extract from the upcoming film may be the funniest thing I've seen all year.

I almost posted this video a week or so ago. Believe it or not, I actually thought the perfect vehicle for JCVD to re-establish himself would be something like this. I saw his TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY episode and it was crazy enough. For him to lampoon his past is genius. Hopefully Segal will jump on that bandwagon.

Eh, I doubt that. Even when he tried to parody himself on "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE," Seagal took himself too seriously; cast members ranked him with Paris Hilton as one of the worst hosts in the show's history.

Jean-Claude, on the other hand, I think has learned his lesson, and I'm quite excited that he's hitting a renaissance.

Not to mention the fact that JCVD's recent DTV movies are rather good and he's aged well.

Isn't Seagal parodying himself in the upcoming Onion film?

"Just tell 'em you got Van Damme. I'm sure they'll be thrilled"

That looks really, really good.

Wasn't that completed years ago? I think it's sitting, unreleasably, on a shelf.

UPDATE: Well, this isn't dated, but I guess it's back on. Sort of.
