The official subsite for Kenji Hanyû's Oni no kaen is online, and on that site is a gallery of thirty large stills from the movie. Shin-Tôhô Eiga K.K. is scheduled to release the movie theatrically in Japan on October 27th.

The screenplay for Oni no kaen was written by Hiroshi Yoshino, based on the eponymous novel by Oniroku Dan. The movie stars (listed order corresponds to order on official subsite) Chihiro Koganezaki (earlier this year, she was in Hirono Yamada's Hirono Yamada's Survival Beach (Yamada Hirono no sabaibaru bîchi)), Arisa Matsumoto (viewer discretion is advised), Hitoshi Kajiki, Jirô Miyaji, Takeshi Yamamoto, Yûya Matsuura, and Kazuhiro Sano.

In (somewhat) related news, an English-subtitled trailer for Masashi Yamamoto's Man, Woman & the Wall (Kikareta onna) - a version of his Kikareta onna no mirareta yoru, from an alternative point of view - was recently added to the website of international sales agent Eleven Arts Inc..
