Above is the front of the sales poster for Amir Valinia's Mutants. The movie stars Michael Ironside, Louis Herthum, Tony Senzamici, and Steven Bauer.

Below is a synopsis (contains spoilers) for Mutants from the back of the sales poster.

At the Sho-Nuff Sugar Co., CEO Braylon and his scientist Sergei create an additive that makes sugar even more addictive than nicotine, alcohol, and even narcotics. To test its effectiveness, homeless and runaways kidnapped by the company's security firm Black Rock are imprisoned and used as guinea pigs, but there are terrible side effects. Sergei wants to go down in history as the foremost visionary of human cloning.

Subjects of the experiment eventually become violent zombies within 30 days, and Black Rock's Commander Sykes must track them down and kill them when they escape. But after he finds out that the brother of Erin, a Sho-Nuff employee he has fallen in love with, has been injected with the additive, he has a change of heart. He kills Sergei and rescues her brother Ryan with the help of their dad Griff.

But Sykes does not get to him in time. Ryan is already turning into a zombie, and the teenager volunteers to go on a suicide mission with Sykes. They blow up the plant, but they are both accidentally killed by Colonel Gauge and other members of Black Rock sent to stop the plague from spreading. They kill all the escaped zombies, including the one who tears Braylon apart, but it is too late. Thousands of pounds of the tainted sugar have been shipped all over the world, and thousands of zombies have begun wreaking havoc on humanity.

Mutants is in post-production. It's being produced by K2 Pictures LLC and Dirty District Entertainment LLC in association with Kostuch Film Financing LLC. Spotlight Pictures LLC is the international sales agent for it.

In related news, a trailer for Valinia's Lockjaw: Rise of the Kulev Serpent has just been added to Spotlight Pictures' website. That movie, too, is in post-production. It's being produced by K2 Pictures and DMG Holdings LLC d/b/a Most Wanted Films. It stars DMX.

Here's a synopsis for Lockjaw: Rise of the Kulev Serpent from Spotlight Pictures' website: "Using Voodoo, an ancient African priest creates an indestructible evil drawing tool to be used for revenge. The Kulev Stick is rediscovered by a boy in modern day America, and it conjures a giant serpent that kills his abusive dad. Terrified, the child buries it, and the monster hibernates in a cornfield nearby. ¶ 20 years later, the cursed instrument is dug up by his wife, who is accidentally killed by college teens vacationing in their small rural farming town. Vengeful, he again draws the monster, which awakens and starts killing them off one by one. Now the only thing that stands in its way is Army special ops vet and master hunter Nick Kirabo who has been waiting for 'Lockjaw' to return."
