Title: Dracula's Cape Has Risen From The Grave...
Description: but will it still fit?

Dracula's Cape.... Found!

All we need now is a phial of ashes, Roy Kinnear, Ralph Bates and the 10,000 terrors of Hell.

So weird... I finally saw TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA last week after having intended to for years (and just finished watching the BBC '77 version). In fact, I also saw a dreadful stage adaptation a couple weeks ago. It's been quite a Drac month for me.

The "finding" of this artifact is very fortunate timing given that the "restored" version of Hammer's Dracula is getting released in London next week.

My suspicious mind thinks that it is probably a publicity stunt to boost the movie.

"Hi, Chris? - could you pop 'round and verify that this is the cape you wore for a few hours a day over a period of less than a month about 50 years ago?"

Thankfully, I think this is the only time he's had to wear a cape on-screen, except for his cameo in One More Time...

We can't go on together - with suspicious minds...

"Restored?" I just want to see the tops of characters' heads!

Oh man, is this gonna set off a whole new round of Christopher Lee talking about 1) no one respects the literary source material when they make a Dracula movie, 2) why does everyone always stereotype him as Dracula? You were in Howling II. Would you rather be known for that?

Howling II? You were in Jocks!

Yeah, but please Lord, don't let him sing.

I've always wanted to ask Lee about POLICE ACADEMY 6, and then time how long it takes him to steer the conversation to Dracula.
