I haven't been watching THE WAR on PBS because, frankly, I find Ken Burns documentaries boring (and I'm analyzing ethnographic films for my master's thesis) but I was flipping through channels today when a break in the PBS programming of THE WAR announced "corporate sponsorship" [or was it funding] "for THE WAR brought to you by General Motors" to which I could only react with a deadpan "No kidding."
