Sorry if this was mentioned here before, but I'm interested in learning more about this release from Sony : Tae Guk Gi : The Brotherhood of War 2 Disc Set. Specifically if this is the director's cut(which is listed some places as 150minutes). I don't know how reliable that 145 minutes listing is, elsewhere on the Sony site this release is listed as 140 minutes. Also I realize it's a bit early to know how the picture quality rates against the prior releases but anyone know of any extras on this set? Also in case Sony drops the ball on this release which is the best version of this film available?

Extras look very good (ported from the Korean SE), especially for a foreign movie... This almost makes me regret on picking up the HK disc so soon. I might buy this again since I like the movie quite a bit...can't wait to sample the English dub. :P

I only have the HK Region 3 disc and I recommend that highly. It's got a great transfer and Dolby and DTS sound. Extras-wise, it got a few brief interviews (around 1-2 min each) with the two stars, cinematographer, and the director and the 40+ min making-of without any translation.

Hopefully Sony spreads around a lot of review discs early, I really want to read how this compares visually to the other releases, since the extras seem to be the best available for an English speaking viewer. No DTS track like is in the HK set I think(shame if the dub track took up its space on the disc), but that's not really an issue for me.
