It’s SHOCK IT TO ME! time again! San Francisco’s premiere horror film festival, featuring twelve classic (and not so classic) cinematic chillers, returns for a third terrifying year with our biggest and most shocking show yet! We’re pulling out all of the stops (and a few bloody stakes) to make this the most haunted happening of the Halloween season – hosted by our resident gruesome guides Doktor Goulfinger and Ms. Monster – so frightening, that we cannot promise that you will make it out of the Castro Theatre alive!

This year’s ghoulish Guests of Honor will include Hammer Horror star Veronica Carlson (Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed) director Joe Dante (The Howling) and author John Stanley ("I Was a TV Horror Host") appearing live! Our roster of frightening feature films is a cross-section (no pun intended) of classics and cult favorites, many not screened in Bay Area theaters for decades: Dracula Has Risen From the Grave, Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed, Re-Animator, Matinee, Gremlins 2, The Howling, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Blacula, Sugar Hill, Rosemary's Baby and two more sinister creature features to be announced – all in one weird weekend of Double Feature and Midnight Movie presentations!
