Title: Sort films of Walerian Borowczyk

Timo Raita - September 9, 2007 12:20 PM (GMT)
What Borowczyk short films are out on DVD? I know that in the Italian DVD Goto l'isola dell'amore there are "Les astronautes", "Scherzo infernal" and "Escargots des Venus" as an extra. And in the new polish DVD Antologia Polskiej Animacji there are "Dom"and "Szkola":

Anything else out on DVD or even VHS?

There was a thread here which listed all of the DVDs with shorts as extras, but it seems to have mysteriously vanished. Luckily I kept a copy of the main posts:

1975 – DZIEJE GRZECHU/THE STORY OF SIN

1975 - ESCARGOT DE VENUS (short)
- extra on Goto, l’ile d’amour (Trash Mountain Video, Japan, NTSC) - French w/ Japanese subs
- extra on Goto, l'isola dell'amore (Columbia TriStar, Italy, PAL) - French w/ Italian subs

1976 - LA MARGE

- Les Heroine du Mal, Pioneer, Japan, NTSC (French w/ removable Japanese subs)

1983 - ARS AMANDI/THE ART OF LOVE

1984 - SCHERZO INFERNAL (short)
- extra on Goto, l’ile d’amour (Trash Mountain Video, Japan, NTSC)

Also, Michael’s excellent list includes the Italian DVD edition of ‘Regina della notte’ (Legocart) which, it should be noted, is little more than a dupey-bootleg-looking release, which should be avoided at all costs.
