I wasn't quite sure where to put this one, so I figured the "cult & exploitation" section is the best place. I saw the ads for Josh Harnett vehicle WICKER PARK a lot before its US debut in September. I dismissed it as a FATAL ATTRACTION for teens a la SWIMFAN (I love ads that feature quick shots of steamy sex scenes and then say, "Rated PG-13"). But today I was looking up some stuff at the IMDb and one film was the 1996 French mystery film L'APPARTEMENT starring Vincent Cassel. Much to my surprise I clicked on movie connections and I see it was remade as WICKER PARK.
So, I guess my question is, has anyone braved WICKER PARK or seen the original and been able to compare the two? I find it so fascinating that this is a remake I knew nothing about.
