Title: status of Thrower's Nightmare USA

Anybody know what's going on with this? Amazon has shifted the release date a few times and now has it in a nonavailable status. A couple of the US online dealers I'd expect to carry this (such as Xploited) don't have it. Is it out? Problems with stateside distribution? Something else?

It's out, and it's great. But, yeah, good luck getting it.

The book is actually in stock at the US distributors warehouse, so not sure why it isn't reaching the stores.
You could always order it direct from the publisher:
http://www.fabpress.com/or from
amazon.co.uk

Strangest thing about this...I had it pre-ordered at Amazon.com, and received an email notification that the shipping estimate had been changed for an estimated delivery date of 7/30. I had to go online to acknowledge that I still wanted to get the book, but as soon as I confirmed that the new date was okay with me, it changed (just on-screen -- I never received another email from Amazon) to an estimated delivery date of 12/24!

Well Ingram didn't have this in stock either so that's probably why other US sources didn't. But it showed up recently on Amazon so I placed an order Sunday and just received a shipping confirmation. So looks like it's finally here.

And woo hoo it arrived today. It's an amazing package and darn heavy too. Will probably take a looong time to absorb. And a whole chapter on Messiah of Evil, yay!
(& just a side rant: Why are Amazon shipments sometimes carefully wrapped in heavy plastic and then other times--such as my shipment of this--the books are just thrown into the box? Fortunately there was really only a minor nick but if I wasn't so close to a distribution point I'm guessing the book could have been tossed around quite a bit.)
