I have the R3 HK edition of DEATH NOTE 1 and wanted to continue the story (it ends on a cliffhanger) but I had the idea of missing out on the bonus disc if I buy any of the "Complete" sets out there. I was all set to buy the HK version which I understand has fully subtitled extras (unlike Korean and Japanese editions) but I notice there's a more attractively packaged Taiwanese Complete set. I can't determine how the Taiwanese version compares with the HK release, does anyone have it or know how it stacks up?

I realise this isn't the best forum for such a question but I'm not registered with that many media-specific forums and it's such a media specic query.

On a related note, YesAsia are selling quite a few Taiwanese editions of films and I've always been led to believe they're a mixed bag in terms of quality and censorship but the informed shopper can bag some interesting alternate cuts of HK faves. Can anyone point me to a forum or site that considers or compares Taiwanese releases to HK R3 etc?
