The Film Society of Lincoln Center has announced that the retrospective sidebar to the 2005 New York Film Festival will be a series commemorating the 110th anniversary of Shochiku, running from Sept. 24 to Oct. 20; to be followed by "100 Years of Chinese Cinema" from Oct. 21 to Nov. 10 (dates subject to change).
