Title: THE TWO COREYS
Description: Haim and Feldman keepin' it real

Wow, A&E has really sunk to a new low. They have a new "reality" show starring Corey Feldman and Corey Haim that debuts on July 29th. Feldman looks the same but, damn, Haim is looking rough. I guess the scenario is Haim moves in with Feldman and his wife.

Here is a clip via Bloody Disgusting where the two cry over not being in THE LOST BOYS 2:

Wasn't their claim to fame that they were in a couple of movies together?

I remember Corey Haim was pretty good in LUCAS...

And the other Corey was decent in STAND BY ME...

But together? What? (I know LOST BOYS - but so?)

The only three that really mattered were License to Drive, The Lost Boys, and Dream a Little Dream, although they've teamed up a few times since (National Lampoon's Last Resort, Dream a Little Dream 2, Blown Away, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, and some direct to video flick called Busted). They were also both on the Canadian series Big Wolf on Campus -- in separate seasons, tho' -- and I had a chance to hang out on the set the next-to-last day of the series' filming with Corey Feldman.

The crew quipped that when Haim was doing his guest spot, all he did was bitch about Feldman, and when Feldman was around, all he did was bitch about Haim. One odd thing is that his exceptionally nice girlfriend at the time was someone completely different than the woman he wound up marrying on The Surreal Life (less than a year later, I think?).

I LOVE DREAM A LITTLE DREAM. A Wonderful film.

That said, that's got to be some of the best acting I've seen from Corey Haim in a long time. Shows that he's still got talent, assuming any casting agencies care any more.

Personally, I thought it would've been nice to have seen them both in a LOST BOYS sequel, again. But I sure didn't want to see a grown up, parental version of the Frog brothers. That would've been depressing.

Dang, though. I might just have to tune in, if just for a bit. This show looks like one heckuva train wreck.

Ugh. I don't know if anyone else tried to watch this but it was awful, beyond contrived and just bad. But it looks like the ploy has worked for them as both Coreys are now scheduled to be in THE LOST BOYS 2:

Aaah, now Corey Haim can continue the healing. That "breakdown" over LOST BOYS 2 was one of the Coreys finest, and funniest, moments together. Inspiring :D.

The show is a little funny, so long as one understands that this is basically a sitcom, dressed up as a documentary. Most of these "reality" shows are something like that anyways, and this one is no different.
