Title: A nice movie at Video Watchblog..
Description: Christmas comes early...

Go to the Bava book blog if you haven't already and download the very sweet 11 minute movie (WMV format) of Tim and Donna opening up the parcel containing the first completed editions of ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK. The pair of them react to the book and offer some useful discussion, along with positive shipping details. (Outside, as I type this, it's a full moon, which those of an astrological bent suggest indicates an important, emotional moment reached and the beginning of a new phase). Just lovely. My sincere congratulations, Tim and Donna.

That was a wonderful video, congratulations Tim and Donna! I can't wait to be holding the book in my arms in a month or two myself :)

IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIVE!!!!

Tim, you are much too calm in this footage. How did you contain your excitement?

Again, amazing! The book is beautiful.

I guess this means it should be out in about five years. Just kidding. It looks great and I can't wait to open my own oversized package. Congrats Tim.

There was a certain amount of tension in watching the video, as a friend once hurriedly tried to open a box in the same manner with an exacto-blade and ended up slicing his knee open when the knife slipped!

Congrats to Tim & Donna, and this just makes me more anxious to get the book into my own hands soon!

Okay, Tim.

I’m moving to a new house in July. Now here is the challenge; can you ship it to me before I move to the new address? Or will it be lost at the local post office? Or do you want to hold on to if for another month or two or six? I sure would hate for that book to be picked up by the wrong person. What if that person witnesses a murder? Then I’ll never get that book. Or what if I’m on my way to the post office and I witness a murder. Or what if I don’t witness it? What if I misinterpret the observation and believe that I witness a murder when there was no murder. Or what if I witness a murder of a murderer but fail to comprehend that the person being murdered deserves to be murdered. And what about that land development next door to the new house? What if it leads to murder?

And if the dog pees on the book, would you send me a new copy?

Sincerely,

J.B.

Of course -- just send us the cover price, plus postage. ;)
