***mild spoilers for EYES OF DAWN and SEODONGYO***

If these questions are answered, there is the possibility of major spoilers.

I apologize if K-drama is not an appropriate subject on this forum, but I have seen it mentioned before. In the EYES OF DAWN boxset the English subtitles are missing at two places--the last ten minutes or so of the 4th disc and in the final episode, Yeo Ok's final speech. If anyone knows where I can find out what is being said in these scenes, I would appreciate it.

As for SEODONGYO, I have watched it twice so far and I love it--I am even becoming fond of the terrible subtitles (at least they're there!)--but I do have two questions:
(1) How did Sunhwa know Jang was still alive?
(2) Why did Giroo want to "rehabilitate" Jang?
A fantasy element is introduced when the incense burner appears, so I will accept that the pendant is a magical item that will find its way where it has to be and not worry about any plot holes or inconsistencies where it is involved.

I'm almost tempted to look into those SEODONGYO questions, but...much as I love the series, dedicating another 50+ hours to watch it a second time isn't at the top of my to-do list. :D

However, with regard to Giroo and Jang, I don't think there was a specific intent involved in attempts at "rehabilitating" each other...they just were fated to love each other like brothers. You can see the same hero/villain dynamic in many K-dramas, like DAE JANG GEUM and EMPEROR OF THE SEA (and most amusingly, COME BACK SOON-AE).

Speaking of things Korean-related, just got to see MUSA THE WARRIOR & SYMPATHY FOR LADY VENGEANCE this past week. Enjoyed the former as a big cool war epic, didn't really care too much for the latter, even though the cinamatography was stunning and the fragmented narrrative got to be confusing at times--it really didn't floor me the way OLDBOY did. I watched one of the extras on the DVD--an interview with director Park Chan-Wook through an interpreter,in which he explained everything about the trilogy and the notion of vengeance, which I found very interesting, even though I nodded off into a nap after about an hour :) The intereview wasn't the least bit boring--I was just sleepy and didn't know it.
