Title: My Tribute to Takashi Miike
Description: Finally cracked Youtube..

Jon Norris - June 13, 2007 01:54 PM (GMT)
I finally managed to get some videos online at youtube and decided the first projects to post were these. Both were made for college class projects (a digital audio class and an asian american class), going well beyond the teachers' expectations.

First is my Takashi Miike tribute...

And then a teaser trailer I made based off a certain idea that was supposedly being tossed around at one point.

By all means, I'd love to hear feedback from you all. I've always valued it, even when I don't always agree.

Really nicely done Jon. Is that music from THE PROFESSIONAL around 2:34? I really liked the editing at the end.

Thanks. If you go to the credits, all the music is listed there (at the very end), but the theme you are referring to would be the main theme from the movie 2046 (directed by Kar Wai Wong, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0212712/). I can't say if a similar theme also appears in The Professional or not, but if Wong's film score was based on a classical piece (the style of the film could suggest that), it may very well be. Maybe someone else can chime in.
