This has been put on hold numerous times over the last few years, but it's finally available! I just received my copy of Alexander Ptushko's first color feature (and I think the Russian color feature) THE STONE FLOWER / KAMENNYY TSVETOK (1946) from RUSCICO. I'm in the process of moving so I haven't yet had a chance to watch it (though I did spot check it on my computer) Anyone else pick this up yet?

I bought this as soon as it came out. Just skimmed the beginning of the disc, and it looked in good shape. Film-wise I don't know if it's any good as I haven't had time to watch it yet.

Does the disc offer English subtitles? In the "good old days," it probably would have been released by Image in the states.

English subtitles - yes indeed!

English subtitles - yes indeed!

Curiously the box art is only in russian, even though the menus are only available in english and french.
