Bob and Doug are back! This month the CBC will be airing an hour long "Two-Four Anniversary Special" to pair with a screening of STRANGE BREW:

*urp* I got whiplash from my burps, eh?

I recently watched the 2-hour BEST OF SCTV special that ABC aired in 1988, and I was shocked to discover that hardly any McKenzie Brothers sketches were on it. This was only five years after STRANGE BREW was released. On the other hand, Thomas and Moranis had little or nothing to do with the special, and Joe Flaherty did, so maybe that explains it.

Anybody else remember the aborted attempt to make second Bob & Doug movie some years ago? It was to be titled HOME BREW as I recall, and either started filming but was abruptly shut down, or shut down almost literally on the eve of production. Whatever the case, a damn shame if you ask me.
