I believe so, but these films don't have any nudity or extreme violence anyway, do they?
Chester Berne - April 27, 2007 07:06 PM (GMT)
TCMHere's what TCM has listed, but it really doesn't say if it's uncut.
Joe Grego - April 27, 2007 08:41 PM (GMT)
These aired when TCM started their "Underground" series, and there was indeed nudity in MUDHONEY. As I've never seen it before, I don't know if it was completely intact, but TCM prides itself on running films uncut.

TCM had some trouble awhile back when they began airing more modern films. At that time, they were editing for language and nudity; I know for sure they aired a cut version of COTTON COMES TO HARLEM. The network found itself in a bit of a quandary; yes, it wanted to air modern films like RAGING BULL, but was afraid of "offending" viewers with profanity, etc. I think TCM's solution was to air them only at night and uncut (so far as I know). TCM's prints of BUSTING and HICKEY & BOGGS appeared to be uncut the last time they aired.

They last couple of times they aired NETWORK it was uncut as well.
BTW, for those thinking of taping these, you may want to set your recorders to a bit before and after the movies (as well as inbetween) as TCM has been running a short "Behind the Scenes" documentary about FASTER PUSSYCAT with plenty of interviews from everyone who is still around of the film. (Typically they air this type of things beforehand, from my experience.)

Taped these and have only glanced at PUSSYCAT, but it seems it zooms up rather well to 16:9...
