Ooookaayyy. Just read this at the Fangoria site. While I hope the new owners keep things running, I have to question another horror channel comign along when I thought The Horror Channel's premiere was imminent. And wasn't Fangoria backing them up as well?
Verrry interesting.

They parted ways a while back. Also I don't think it's a direct challenge to the Horror Channel, since the FangoTV is apparantly a HD channel(at least initially) and THC will be regular basic cable. Still no word on when Horror Channel's going to launch, it's been imminent since the week before Halloween.
Frankly I'm starting to think the lousy sounding Scream Network(not the HD one with the similar name that already began to air) will beat THC to the air. That one(Scream Network, or Channel, or who knows anymore) is from Joel Silver and a former partner of THC(their financier). So that's four horror channels(five if you count that VOOM channel). I also read that Universal's working on a horror-themed channel, which makes five or six(unless they teamed with one of the others). A bevy of riches for the horror fans, or slicing the pie into very thin pieces, depending on how you look at it.
