Well, drag me out in the field and burn me as a heretic... but I think that Demons could use a good remaking. It's a great premise that wasn't explored to the full potential in the original... although throwing in some William Castle-worthy shenanigans could have helped.
That said, though... this looks more like de-evolution at work.
Will they be shot on DV like RED RIDING HOOD? If so, what's the point. Not that I don't like digital video but if you're going to remake DEMONS or even BEYOND THE DOOR, they should have bigger budgets and better production values (though the original DEMONS is hard to beat). I'm expecting cheap-jack DTV projects to cash in on the originals.
