I'd pre-ordered this title from Amazon about a month ago. Earlier today, I received the following message:

"Hello from Amazon.com.

We are sorry to report that we will not be able to obtain the following
item from your order:

Though we had expected to be able to send this item to you, we've
since found that it is not available from any of our sources at this
time. We realize this is disappointing news to hear, and we apologize
for the inconvenience we have caused you.

We have cancelled this item from your order."

Although some other online shops are still accepting pre-orders, I checked the Dark Sky site and it seems as though they've removed all info concerning RICCO. Anyone know what's going on?

Sounds like Dark Sky's "legal department" has been napping, as of late. I received a similar letter regarding TRAGIC CEREMONY, which has also been disappeared. However, I've received no notice of any delay or problem with KILL BABY KILL, so hopefully the latter will indeed appear as scheduled.

So Dark Sky seems to have dropped these highly anticipated titles. Its a real shame. I believe they should at least provide an explanation as too many fans were anxious to get these and are now disappointed.

RICCO deserves a special edition DVD!

NAKED YOU DIE does not seem to be having the same issues as the other two titles.

Have these been pushed back or cancelled completely? How much do you think they would lose if they'd already pressed the discs and printed the covers?

Well to be honest I couldn't care less if they lose or not. The problem is the DVD is not coming out! The fact RICCO has disappeared from their site means its not getting released. If it was just a delay they would have announced it. My point is they should still write something about what happened anyway.
