Title: Great Website about PM Entertainment

If you like watching cars explode half as much as I do, then you'll definitely want to check out The Citylights/PM Entertainment page from yourvideostoreshelf.com.

The site is basically the blog of a film fan, but he has written some incredible reviews (with clips) of the early Pepin/Merhi movies made under the Citylights label. The reviews are in chronological order, and the author uses that structure to tell how PM entertainment came into existence. It turns out Joseph Merhi was a pizza man with no background in film at all. The reviews could probably use the help of a professional editor, but they are entertaining and have been researched on a level usually limited to scholarly work.

I highly recommend this site... just make sure you read the reviews in chronological order. If you don't it would be like reading the chapters of a book in the wrong order.

I saw this site when he started the project with his review of the debut City Lights film HOLLYWOOD IN TROUBLE. I'm glad to see he is continuing but that is quite a task. The pizza joint of Merhi is prominently featured in some of Ray Dennis Steckler's 80s Vegas flicks. A true success story!
