Title: I'm already sick of The Black Donnellys
Description: Anybody else?

Somebody's paying a fortune for those saturation ads... and all I'm thinking is Lucky Charms are magically delicious!
Marty McKee - February 16, 2007 01:46 PM (GMT)
Would you rather have STUDIO 60??
Richard Harland Smith - February 16, 2007 07:26 PM (GMT)
Maybe if the people on STUDIO 60 shot each other and stuff. Hey, I don't dislike STUDIO 60, I just don't care!
Meanwhile, 30 ROCK continues to be the Odd Lot of TV comedy, like a vast outlet of remaindered jokes you've heard somewhere else.
Marty McKee - February 16, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
Come on, you've never heard The Ruhrrrhrrr Juhrrrhrrr anywhere else.
Jim Kenney - February 17, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
30 ROCK is friggin' funny, OK. It's seemed to turn into a sort of perverse MARY TYLER MOORE in recent weeks, but the ep with Liz Lemon finally finding the perfect man (only for him to be her cousin) and the ep with Paul Reubens as the last prince of wherever and Isabella Rosellini as Baldwin's wife were my fave yet. Baldwin is killing every ep, but I also find Tracy Morgan very funny on this show, which I never found him on SNL...keep it coming!

Seeing those ads reminds me of some lifelong Woodlawn resident holding court in a polished-up excuse for an Irish pub in Manhattan, waxing rhapsodic about the old country.
To shows like this, being Irish means little more than wearing leather jackets, drifting towards alcoholism and having a bad relationship with your Da.

I've only seen one single promo for THE BLACK DONNELLYS to date. Either I'm not watching enough TV or I'm watching the wrong TV.

Due to your overuse of the obnoxious buzzword "ep," no one will ever again listen to another word you say.
Jim Kenney - February 18, 2007 12:25 PM (GMT)
I didn't know they did before! But then again, I didn't know "ep" was a buzzword! Perhaps you've been spending too much time in Hollywood...jealous that I'm here in New York City, where it's a sparkling 11 degrees, ehh? Don't lash out at either me or Liz Lemon cuz we're safely ensconced in the cradle of the world!
