Title: Titles you are still looking forward to in 2004?
Description: Less than 3 months left!

What horror/sci-fi titles are you looking forward to in the remainder of 2004 in theaters? I am looking forward to THE MACHINIST and BLADE: TRINITY but that is about it. Also, PRIMER sounds really interesting, but I don't think it will play theatrically anywhere near me. I was looking forward to SAW, but I think I figured it out from the trailer (not a very good sign).

William, if you haven't already, you should check out the little "making-of" featurette on THE MACHINIST over at the Apple site. It focuses on the incredible weight loss Christian Bale endured for the sake of the roll. It really must be seen to be believed.

Brad Anderson's HAPPY ACCIDENTS was one of my favorite films that year and while I didn't really care for SESSION 9 there were some amazing moments. The scene involving "running from the darkness" will never leave my mind. Hopefully THE MACHINIST will mark the blossoming of the talent he showed in these previous two films.

I'm also looking forward to SAW though something tells me I'm setting myself up for disappointment.

Lastly, I've been waiting for THE WOODSMAN which stars Kevin Bacon as a man wrestling with his pedophilic urges.. While not a horror film, it is supposed to be extremely dark and difficult to watch and the topic matter would definitely lead one to believe the hype. Is that still coming out this year (or ever)?
