If any Mobius regulars come down, please be sure to say hello if we haven't met before. Always nice to put a face to the names on here. I'm still working on a couple of last minute guests (and if you are in touch with anyone else from these films please send me a message, always glad to get even more people down for cast & crew reunions). Also, now that MySpace allows more photos to be uploaded I should be putting a bunch of pictures up of the guests we've had for past events and any upcoming ones.

Don't miss our next Grindhouse event at LA's New Beverly Cinema this Tuesday, January 23rd. We've got a double-dose of 1970's exploitation classics in 35mm, with hot cheerleaders and tough gang gals from legendary cult director Jack Hill. We're also thrilled that Jack Hill and SWITCHBLADE SISTERS star Joanne Nail will be coming down to introduce the films and do a Q&A session (with additional guests possible).
The event starts at 7:30pm, and admission for the double feature plus a reel of rare exploitation trailers and a free raffle is only $8.00.
Please note that starting this month our admission price has gone up to $8.00 for this event. Our costs have become higher recently, requiring a slight increase in admission, but we still think this is one of the best entertainment bargains in LA (and we hope you agree).
For additional information and schedules for upcoming events, visit our MySpace page at www.myspace.com/grindhouse.

THE SWINGING CHEERLEADERS (1974)
Directed by Jack Hill. Starring Jo Johnston, Rainbeaux Smith, Colleen Camp and Rosanne Katon.
Sounds like it would be a great show. Hill, Joanne Nail and Robbie Lee appeared in a video reunion segment when Hill released his own VHS of SWITCHBLADE SISTERS back in the nineties (Johnny Legend was part of that promotional deal, too). I don't believe that that particular segment has appeared anywhere else, including the laserdisc and DVD releases of the film. Now, if you could just persuade Monica Gayle to attend the screening...
No luck on Monica Gayle, but just spoke to Colleen Camp and she'll be coming down to help Jack introduce THE SWINGING CHEERLEADERS.
I'll have to ask what ever happened to the footage from that old reunion screening.
